Sony already beat JVC to it with the GC1 - Net-sharing cam. I have one, although I haven't looked into You Tube compatability and guess what, It didn't cost $349 - try $149 and its a 5mp digi-cam too. Yeah, I know, not all that spectacular but just wanting to relate there are cheaper routes, and I am a fan of the Everios, just not this one.
