RAmos reveals Blue Magic T8 PMP
Just in case you felt there wasn't quite enough screen real estate on the ultra-sleek V8, RAmos is giving the display even more attention on the Blue Magic T8. The player features a 4.3-inch display, 10-millimeter thick enclosure, built-in FM radio tuner and the potential to play nice with a not-yet-developed dock that would enable video output. Beyond that, details are freakishly scarce, so it looks like you'll have to put away your excitement for the time being.[Via PMPToday]

The picture is a modified version of the one found here:
http://www.apple.com/ipodnano/
Squashed a tad and with the screens changed obviously; and then this one:

Hence the cut off - they obviously don't do hot pink...

All I mean to say is, don't trust that this will look anything like it's picture.

Because they lined their player up in a somewhat similar way it was lined up in then Nano picture?
Great detective work, Sherlock....
TomWBrowning @ May 27th 2008 7:39AM
No. Because the picture is identical, just modified. As in stolen. As in not an accurate representation of the final product.
Pay attention my dear Watson.

"Because the picture is identical, just modified. As in stolen."
Your statement makes no sense.
You cant steal a position. Are you trying to tell me that Apple now has patents, and copyright over tilting devices, which btw they also didn't invent?
"As in not an accurate representation of the final product. "
There product is in the image, unless they cut and pasted some other device, then you have no basis to say that this isnt how it's going to look, other than hoping.

TomWBrowning is right. if you examine this image and the one on the iPod page you'll see that they did modify the iPod pic. Look closely at the top left corners of the players and you'll see that the black refletion is the same in both pics. Although they changed the colors slightly, these players are lined up in the same exact order of colors as the iPods.

Looks like they bred a nano and a touch...

Does anyone else feel like fullscreen PMPs and subnotebooks make up like 40% of Engadget stories lately?
Oinquer @ May 27th 2008 12:25PM
40% no...but 60%...posssible =P
Luke @ May 27th 2008 7:34AM
ya, they sweat PMP stories... none of which will ever make it to the US market... hehe
TomWBrowning @ May 27th 2008 9:54AM
@fred:
That's exactly what I'm saying. The image is copied and pasted, edited to have a new screen in photoshop (alongside squidging it a little horizontally, about 10%) then marked as their own. Hence the cut off on the left from where the hot pink nano was. Check the two images again.
I can do a photoshop of my own to demonstrate, if you are really so blind.
(What's up with engadgets comment system after a while? Stops letting me post responses. And why can't I post responses to responses?)
BladeDreams @ May 27th 2008 5:53PM
You do realize this just a 'concept' photo right? It may or may not look like this when actually made...Silly lilttle children arguing over the stupid Eye BS again.
Personally I give a rat's bloody A$$ who they copied or didnt copy. If it does what they say and I like what it does AND it cost 1/4 what those fruity POS sell for...SOLD!
