Microsoft taps Canadian artists for Zune Originals designs
Just in case you didn't really believe Microsoft was finally bringing the Zune to Canada, along comes a release to make it doubly official. Aside from reiterating the June 13th launch date -- not to mention the $249.99 CDN (Zune 80), $189.99 CDN (Zune 8) and $139.99 CDN (Zune 4) price points -- Microsoft is also announcing seven new designs for its Zune Originals artist series. Fittingly, the mega-corp has tapped actual Canadian artists in order to find said designs, and considering that all Zune Originals artwork / engraving will be offered up gratis for three months after the launch day, you might as well indulge.

Do you constantly contradict yourself? Well, it fitting as your platform of choice is chock full of contradictions themselves. No matter, such innovative initiatives from MS with the Zune will yield massive sales this year. Perhaps 2 million more by the end of 2008. How can one resist the Mickey Mouse look on the front face of the Zune, and the endearing similarities of the etched image on the back? Ears and all. LOL
Is this Jason Sho Green?
if they really wanted to one-up the iPod... start wtih the basics; give it a user-replaceable battery.
BillG, loved your scary hologram. Say hi to the wife. Looking forward to another fine dinner at your beautiful home.
PS. drag n drop, FLAC and Ogg Vorbis is not work of the devil. It does wreck your restrictive business model, though.
Love,

Better yet, just get the art of your choice laser engraved on the back of an iPod...

You guys in the UK will get everything that we have and the 3rd gen Zune when in comes out in Spring 2009 .... the only thing that sucks is the wait.
Personally i think both the ipod and the zune are good devices however ,im a type of person that thinks 3rd party companies prevail it's all about the MEIZU!!!
