Foxconn shows off pint-sized PD-S2900 DLP projector
It's not quite shooting for the world's smallest title, but Foxconn's new PD-S2900 DLP projector will certainly turn quite a few heads nonetheless, with it boasting a form factor of just 4 x 3.6 x 1.4 inches and a weight just under a pound. That'll still give you an SVGA resolution though, along with a whopping 55 lumens of brightness and an apparently decently-sized image from a few feet away. No word on a price just yet, but you can look for this one to hit Taiwan sometime in the third quarter of this year.

Seems good for traveling presenters.
I agree, but what about noise? There's nothing worse than a projector that whines like an unpaid whore.
Priced right and this thing could be a big hit in the business world. Having a really portable projector would be much nicer than lugging the bigger ones around.
I'd rather have a pint..
Of what? Blood, sweat, cum?
.... In exchange for my first born child and my immoral soul...
We have a tiny Dell "color" projector like that... The reason that's in quotes is that it's capable of only one color... blue. Anything else is horribly washed out. Unless of course you could the bright reds and greens in the rainbow effect seen whenever you move your eyes across the screen.
Would you like to see my "Projector"... .Honest.... where are you all going?
Nice and simple design and certainly a good size.
But 55 lumen? Please let that be a mistake. That's the light output of 4 candles or a 8 Watt lightbulb.
kinda has wii styling
Foxconn, as in the Foxconn (Hon Hai Precision Industry) that makes the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, ipods, macbooks, mac minis, Nvidia graphics cards, and every other CE device imaginable?
@Samboini - OMG, do your comments have to be so offensive? It's a gadget blog, not somewhere for you to air your obsession with prostitution and sex.
Ugh.
So rainbows in a ceral box size now? How about working on affordable LCOS or LCD or 3-chip DLP 1080p projectors for the masses rather than shrinking tainted tech to make kids happy.
