I think half the engadget posters could use this, because the other half doesn't understand the concept of "passive" in context.
Maybe a web-enabled version with real-time video feed? :)
Haha, I saw the word china, and even though I understood it wasn't referring to the country, I still just assumed the machine was in China... I amused myself.
Nice. I live just down the street from there... should check it out. I wonder why they chose that neighbourhood... or maybe they have more around the city...
And you know the city is multicultural when the SPECIAL is Canadian food. :D haha
it's not in china tho, it' sdowntown toronto
I'm surprised the glass of the vending machine is not cracked. Cos I would be kicking it when i realized that i just wasted a quarter and couldn't break the dang thing myself. Might as well have a vending machine where the snacks keep getting stuck and people never get it. Equally frustrating and fun for onlookers watching a Canadian going postal on a vending machine.
PASSIVE hun, it's a PASSIVE aggressive machine.
Not ACTIVE
PASSIVE

i get the passive part... just don't think most people would realize it until it happens the first time.....
The only true satisfaction is taking away satisfaction for others by running this machine over with a truck....
No, no, it's waiting with the truck, watching for losers, waiting till the quarters drop, they enter their selection, and just as they gaze, watching for the impending satisfaction of destruction...
WHAM! You run over _them_ with the truck; that way you can come back and do it again later. Don't kill the goose that lays the golden egg shards!
