Garmin's Nuvifone is coming in white?
The folks at NaviGadget got a couple reader-submitted shots of a white Nuvifone, but there's no telling just now how legit they are. Garmin just shows a black version of its phone -- which is still slated for Q3 at a purported $500 pricepoint -- on its own site, but perhaps this teensy supposed leak means there's more news in store for the Nuvifone camp in the near future.
Update: Turns out this is just an inverted shot of a black phone, so sorry to disappoint.

The same old negative image effect except the screen... I can't believe you buy it :D
Engadget should know better. That is such an obvious inversion.
What are the chances of this in the uk at say a certain 3g device price range or even in the uk at all.
Is this the largest pic ever posted on engadget?
Just askin'.
Looks way better than the iPhone !!!
I was just about to say the same thing. It looks way better than the iphone.
especialy in white even if the picture is fake. We can still dream.
Are you nuts????????????????????
No phone on earth can look better than the iPhone.
Apple rocks!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll be honest, I am not an iPhone advocate or user, but I do like the look better of the iPhone. For some reason rounded edges look nicer to me. I, however, do like the white.
Clak:
You're still here? God, Id've thought you got bored of trolling/being an apple advocate a long while back.
Meh, s'pose it shows you have the collective intelligence of a pack of light bulbs.
Admittedly biased iPhone user. I love it. But this phone looks great too. It's definitely NOT an iPhone clone. I like that.
This is clearly an inverted image, just to test I inverted this image in Photoshop to reveal the original color scheme.
I am surprised engadget would post such a blatant fake.
For jollies (was bored at work), I decided to try to recreate this image using the images from Garmin's press release. I by no means have leet Photoshop skills, and was able to create an identical image in GIMP in about 5 minutes. Invert the colors of the original phone photo, put the phone's screen on another layer, position, rotate and resize, then use the Perspective tool. Easy.

This is the best thing Google could do to compete with the iPhone.
Google is pathetic they won't hold a candle with this ugly phone compared to the iPhone!!!!!!
Yes, just because it has google search on it, it;s made by them.
Read the HEADLINE idiot.
um yeah il pick up one of the other GPS phones for $300 less

Come on now...
$150 for a TomTom ONE, $0 for a phone. At least if someone steals your PND you can still communicate.
Or wait - how about getting a BlackBerry curve with Google Maps navigation for FREE!?!?
Is it just me, or is that the Realtek sound chip logo in the top left hand corner of the screen?
