Sony Ericsson's 8.1 megapixel C905 breaks free
No surprises here but at least Sony Ericsson's C905 Cyber-shot is now official. As a camera, we're talking Xenon flash, face detection, image stabilization and 8.1 megapixels crammed into a tiny sensor of unspecified make or dimensions. As a phone we're looking at quad-band GSM (9-hours talk / 380 hours standby) and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900/2100 on the C905a worldphone variant. It also comes packing an auto-rotating, 2.4-inch scratch-resistant QVGA display, aGPS with Google Maps, A2DP stereo Bluetooth, TV-out, 2GB of included Memory Stick Micro (M2), and WiFi with DLNA support when this slider is loosed upon the globe in Q4.

that girl looks like a guy because when i saw the thumbnail, the hair was cut so i thought it was a guy.
Really the camera had some great features which it was not seen in ordinary cameras. The camera will be handy for adventurous trips in dense forest.

I think everyone is expecting too much! Lets not forget that this is a mobile telephone, not a dedicated digital camera, I think this is going to be a superb phone! But as a few have said, lets wait and see, this will be out in the latter part of this year! I for one can't wait to have a play with it!
I do agree with some on here about the size of the screen, and it is still only the standard screen that was in my K800i and my K850i, both of which are great phones. I used to be all Nokia, but then they changed the software and I found the usability to be a bit on the cheap tacky side, along with motorola and samsung! Just my view, others may disagree.............
This C905 seems to do just about everything that I have ever wanted in a mobile, plus a few more gadgets to play with!
I've never understood what the attraction is with these high MP camera phones. For most people, they want good enough photos for those unplanned situations. Good enough is 1.3MP, 2MP, 3MP with a good flash. If you need 8MP quality then you're not going to be looking for a 8MP camera phone that takes crappy 8MP shots. You instead would buy a cheap point and shoot like the Fuji Finepix J10 for about $115 that would blow away that camera phone in image quality.

The purpose of camera phone is just , sometimes we need to take a pix at the right moment and time ! so it will be ready.
nowadays company is trying to build everything ALL IN. and some feature must be sacrifies ! nothing is perfect !
if you want something good ! get a professional camera !
i would like to have my eye surgery implant the camera and my brain have an intel chip and my eye have a mobile phone implanted !
I understand that, but ask any person who is in the market for a camera phone if they'd rather have a good 3MP camera or a mediocre 8MP camera.
If I am ever going to get a camera I would go SUPER DUPER high quality and get a SUPER DUPER NAME BRAND
The big disappointment with this phone, is that it has no internally focussing optical zoom lens.
Sony Ericsson could easily have fitted at least a 3 x zoom - one which doesn't protrude from the body of the device.
So really, not good enough in my opinion...
