Comcast delivers 5 new HD channels to Boston
It's about time, wouldn't you agree? Comcast last bolstered Boston's HD lineup in February when it added SciFi HD and Animal Planet HD, but shortly after Beantown claimed its 17th NBA Championship, the carrier has decided to sneak five more into the EPG. As of now, you'll find Disney HD (824), Family Channel HD (826), Science HD (857), AMC HD (859) and TLC HD (867). Not like you'll be able to watch any of 'em until the week-long party subsides, but hey, at least you've got something fresh waiting upon your return.[Thanks, Chad]

I wish DirecTV had AMC HD. I'd love to see Mad Men in HD later this July. I wrote to them recently about getting this Channel in HD and they said they had no plans to add
AMC HD.
I don't think weatherscan is an HD channel. Headline should say 5 new HD channels
weatherscan is not an hd channel and has been part of the lineup for quite some time
I live in Hopkinton and none of this channels show up for me..
For "Boston" read "City of Boston and Brookline only". They have more bandwidth due to the digital-only status of Extended Basic in those two communities. Best guess for when the rest of the Boston area will get them - soon after 7/15, when some analogs are scheduled to move to digital-only.
They should be more specific.. When I see Boston, it means the Boston area..
I live in Chelmsford, MA and I still don't get these. Is anyone in the Boston "Area" getting these?
What is the source of this because I have found these 5 new channels to be very untrue?
In Chelmsford, MA we finally got 3 of 5 yesterday Disney HD (824), Family Channel HD (826), Science HD (866).
Hopefully the other two arrive in time for Mad Men Season 2!
