Wii Menu 3.3 already hacked, patch forthcoming
Although the Wii Menu 3.3 update didn't undo the Twilight Hack for those who had already installed it, it did prevent new would-be homebrewers from getting their game on -- but like all attempts to outfox the hackers, it's fallen short, and in record time. According to hackmii, which figured out the workaround, the 3.3 update isn't exactly subtle in what it does to disable the hack -- quote the team, "We Are Not Impressed." No publicly-available patch is out yet, but give 'em time, they say they're working on it.

Hehe, cool to see the hacker community fighting back. ;-)
[test] my previous comment didn't go through?
yeah it did but it replaced your avatar with a pic of a pig
at least she has the ovaries to post a avatar unlike you............if that's a guy then I fully back the pig statment
ouch
It's funny that people will attack everyone who is not afraid to sign with a real picture and name, while they don't have a problem with people who sign with nicknames or as anonymous, and with avatars of things that don't exist, like anime characters. I see this bigotry almost everywhere. It's like that people are afraid of people who are not afraid. Interesting.
there is no way thats you.
Wait, so are you saying your avatar really exists?
Some people just don't belong in the public eye.
im in ur commentz stealin' ur identity
one word: conditioner
look into it
I think you guys are jerks.
What, you think she's going to like, dress up and crap for you guys? Pssh.
She's fine. Leave her alone.
Some of you people make me sick to be a member of your species. At least she put up an avatar. If you think you're so damned good looking, then where is *your* photo avatar?
@ Jimmy
Maybe you could put a picture of an ignorant superficial idiot with no real valuable input who resorts to trying (and failing) at making others feel bad as your avatar?
Actually, people DO care
your just upset cause ur RROD 360 is currently in the repairshop
your just upset cuz ur RROD is in the repairshop
gawd I check 5 mins after I post to see if it was posted(it wasn't) and as zoo. As I report Boom! It shows up. ...... D3fPo3t (I.e me) = grande fail
I honestly don't know why developers bother, no matter how good their software guys are, they are outnumbered 100 to 1 by guys who are just as capable and far more motivated.
The problem is not the developers. It's the managers that say "FIX IT NOW".

will the ps3 be ever hacked??
If I am not mistaken a few months back the PS3 got linux
and if i'm not mistaken, ps3 has had linux from day 1,
this is also a long shot away from being able to play backups or execute homebrew code.
It has a frigging Ubuntu port on it, no hacking needed.
We use the vRAM as swap, and eventually we should have 3d on the SPE's via gallium. But yeah, I'm not buying one unless we get the RSX too.
Well, technically he is correct, if by 'a few months ago' he means 19 months. On that being a hack, well, not so much.
No users => no hackers...
@ mac
"this is also a long shot away from being able to play backups or execute homebrew code."
BS! It's running homebrew code, and there's a (buggy) N64 emulator. And I don't even have that much experience of it! there'll be more out there.
You've got your facts muddled up. The update deletes the Twilight Hack even for those who already had it installed, but it leaves the Homebrew Channel alone. For the time being, the people who updated are unable to use the Twilight hack until Bushing and co release the workaround they've discovered.
If you don't care, why are you posting a comment then??
Go and read some iPhone news!
If this continues, soon we will be in a weird world were the hack for a patch comes out before the patch.
And rain fall upwards or something...
Does that mean we get to ride boats and not use umbrellas?
I really don't want to support the sublime assholes that post derogatory comments about how other people look, but I've tried to upload a picture several times, and it hasn't worked yet.
that was supposed to be a reply to Eugenia Loli-Queru's post.
