Hey, if Bill can give away tens of billions of dollars, the least we can do to
celebrate his last day is to give away some Microsoft-powered gear, right? First up: the 4GB
Toshiba Gigabeat T400, one of the very last Portable Media Center-based devices ever made. Damn, we kind of miss PMC, and the rad stuff it could do that Zune couldn't (like sync recorded TV shows from your Media Center PC). Take it away!
- Leave a comment below. Tell us about your favorite Microsoft-powered product. Or your favorite Apple product, too, since Bill totally bailed those guys out back in '97.
- You may only enter this specific giveaway once. If you enter this giveaway more than once you'll be automatically disqualified, etc. (Yes, we have robots that thoroughly check to ensure fairness.)
- If you enter more than once, only activate one comment. This is pretty self explanatory. Just be careful and you'll be fine.
- Contest is open to anyone in the 50 States, 18 or older! Sorry, we don't make this rule (we hate excluding anyone), so be mad at our lawyers and contest laws if you have to be mad.
- Winner will be chosen randomly. That winner will get a brand new orange Toshiba Gigabeat T400. Approximate value is $150.
- Entries can be submitted until Sunday, June 29th, 11:59PM ET. Good luck!
- Full rules can be found here.

Did Bill invent Minesweeper? If not I'll go more broad and go Windows XP.

I'd say my favorite MS product would be my Xbox 360.
Stan S. @ Jun 27th 2008 1:54PM
Office 97--over a decade old and still works just fine enough for me. How many other MS products can say that?
anthony @ Jun 27th 2008 3:39PM
My favorite microsoft powered product is my Zune 8gb. However it currently has a cracked screen, so a new Gigabeat would suit me well
Wolff Martin @ Jun 27th 2008 2:21PM

I remember my old apple, I used to play Arknoid on that that for hours. It's amazing how many hours I whiled away on that old computer, it's great to think back to the days when that was the cutting edge of technology. Arknoid...I think I might need to go find me a copy of that and blast some baddies.

Windows Xp...I wanna free Zune....
Phantom @ Jun 27th 2008 11:14PM
Microsoft Bob! Seriously though, it's a tie between MCE 2005 and the Xbox 360. MCE is one of Microsoft's greatest achievements for producing a DVR with no subscription fees, and one of their greatest blunders for not including Hi-Def support!
NakedOldGuy @ Jun 27th 2008 11:15PM
I needs me an mp3 playa!

Jonathan @ Jun 28th 2008 3:56AM
Without a doubt, Solitaire. Do they have contests for that? Of course, it'd have to be between the hours of 8am and 5pm for everyone to be at their usual best.
Kwantum @ Jun 28th 2008 5:05AM
My favorite MS product is either my 360 or Windows 3.1.

My favorite Microsoft product had to be the implementation of Windows CE in the SEGA DreamCast console.
If it's a Microsoft-designed product, they had a wicked joystick about 10 years ago... and of course their 5-button optical mouse.
6times7 @ Jun 28th 2008 11:01AM
Windows Mobile. Still more useful than the BB OS.
Thomas Capasso @ Jun 28th 2008 11:25AM
I'd have to say my absolute favorite MS product is the XBOX 360. I love that thing. The first one was good...but the 2nd is just the cat's pajamas.
John @ Jun 28th 2008 11:43AM
The Xbox line, by far...
Without Xbox there might not have been a Halo. How tragic.
Kevin @ Jun 28th 2008 5:02PM
I love Age of Empires 2 with its expansion pack. It is my all-time RTS game!
