Hey, if Bill can give away tens of billions of dollars, the least we can do to
celebrate his last day is to give away some Microsoft-powered stuff, right? Next up: the full, non-upgrade Office Ultimate 2007 suite.
- Leave a comment below. Tell us about your favorite Microsoft-powered product. Or your favorite Apple product, too, since Bill totally bailed those guys out back in '97.
- You may only enter this specific giveaway once. If you enter this giveaway more than once you'll be automatically disqualified, etc. (Yes, we have robots that thoroughly check to ensure fairness.)
- If you enter more than once, only activate one comment. This is pretty self explanatory. Just be careful and you'll be fine.
- Contest is open to anyone in the 50 States, 18 or older! Sorry, we don't make this rule (we hate excluding anyone), so be mad at our lawyers and contest laws if you have to be mad.
- Winner will be chosen randomly. That winner will get the full, non-upgrade Office Ultimate 2007 suite. Approximate value is $350.
- Entries can be submitted until Sunday, June 29th, 11:59PM ET. Good luck!
- Full rules can be found here.
I'd have to say Windows XP.
hum even though it red lighted on me and I switched it for the PS3...I would say the xbox360
That's a tuffy! But I'd have to say XP because it keeps me employed. ;)
Apple's OSX rocks my world, and so would office 07
XP as well here ... I've never had the "luxury" of owning office at home ... not for $300 or more anyway =/
I would have to say Windows OS and Office 07 has been the best, its what I use most.
Definitely Visual Studio 2008.
I'd say my Xbox 360 or Windows XP.
Happy Bill Day!! The best Microsoft product is the Sidewinder PC controller.
MicroSUCKS!!!11
well, kinda... but a free office is always wrorth it.
Office 2007 and Windows Xp/Vista are my favorites.
my pick is Win2K3 corporate. The stability of XP with the added IIS functions.
ISA is also a pretty good firewall/router package.
I'm partial to Outlook. Rock solid and improving all the time.
MS Bob, for sure...
The Picturetel swift site. It was a video conferencing unit in the mid 90's that had the Windows 3.11 operating system. You did say windows powerd
does that count?
Explorer Wireless Mouse
Vista 64 bit, finally a stable x64 OS!
I would have to say the dearly departed Microsoft Cordless Phone System was my favorite! It was truly the precursor to the iPhone and Windows Mobile.
Microsoft office 2003 prolly did it for me....hopefully this '07 ultimate pack can change that :p
XP Media Center Edition

I like Windows XP Professional SP3 best. :)
Microsoft Office is the Ultimate Standard for productivity software it will never be compared to! Mr. Gates got that right!! After XP not much else to holler about!!
Windows 98 was the ground breaker, I feel.
Lovin' XP and refuse to give in to Vista. Use Word every day.

I love XP & Office '03 just fine.
I still love Windows 95.

I really like Vista. It has its sucky moments, but overall, an improvement from xp, especially with SP1.
The Apple Bail Out was good too.

ONENOTE
Those macs in the late 90s that had both a Motorola chip and an Intel chip in them - I so badly wanted a PC that could run both - now the only thing holding me back with my MacBook is a copy of Windows!!
Come on Endgadet + Bill, make the dream come true!
PS Enjoy the retirement Bill - on to more important issues!
Microsoft office is the best thing that has ever come out of microsoft, i cant think of one thing they did better
