That picture was obviously not taken with another Touch Diamond's forward facing camera for video calls which is quite obviously missing from the Sprint incarnation. Heck, I have an Aiptek VGA webcam, circa 1995 which takes better pictures than that. hehe
wow, great picture, how come the crazy new things always have pics taken, and how come theyre always blurry
The blurrier the picture, the more credibility it has. :-)
I hope AT&T gets the Diamond. I am eligible to upgrade from the 8125 and I REALLY want the Diamond. Can't afford the iPhone and the rest of the phone selection sucks. Show the love, AT&T
awesome! this is definetely my next phone, especially since im eligible for upgrade in september :D
I'm sad to say it, but I don't think that's a touch diamond. It's something eerily similar, but if you notice the rounding on the top and bottom of the device, it's not consistent with the pictures of the diamond that even HTC's been posting.
Blurry camera or not, I don't think the mogul's camera is wide-angle enough to put that kind of curvature on the very sharp edges of the diamond. There is the possibility that the CDMA version has a slightly different footprint to fit in a different chipset, but that seems more unlikely than this either being fake or not a diamond at all.
Dude, STFU!
I dont understand why something like, I dont know, a hot new phone in the wild for a new carrier gets such "if we have to post it" treatment when there have been about 5 useless iphone posts today alone.
played with it today, my sprint rep had it.
Its very light, and the back is that rubbery material and lacks the artsy cuts the GSM version has.
the interface was actually silky smooth, but rotating the device has too much of a gyration delay.
Another note, the gyration is reallly accurate, there was a marble labrynth game where you have to avoid pits and it realy felt as if there was a little marble rolling around on my phone.
he tried to demo sprint tv, but it didnt connect.
he also mentioned the sprintified interface is still in beta.
I would have thought this would be hitting TMOB usa before sprint, anyone have any hints on when that might happen???
Aaron is right guys;
This is NOT a Touch Diamond; it is the Touch Pro, the one with the full keyboard.
One of the design differences is a less 'squarish' front. Check out the diamond here, and note the straight, flat edges and sharp corners:

I'll wait for the Pro and only if it works with SERO.
I see dead people
With all of the people that spend hours examining each and every pixel of blurry product photography, am I the only one who sees the demon bunny photoshopped in underneath what appears to be the "Home" icon on that thing?
What is that "demon bunny" looking thing at the right hand corner of the phone display where the display meets the housing of the phone????
lol will have to phone my buddy and call him a sucker, he just bought the Instinct like 3 days ago. Which IMO was a horribly slow, crappy phone.
i have to say that that doesn't look quite like the diamond. the top and bottom edges are curved here and not on the diamond.
