First iPhone 3G caught in the wild, unboxed and handled
If you're a prospective iPhone 3G buyer, get ready to make a mess of your keyboard, desk, and any nearby objects that may be hit by spittle flying out of your mouth. Some lucky, lucky Portuguese man or woman has already had the pleasure of cracking open the box and booting up their new device. Feast your eyes on the above pic and one more after the break, and keep reminding yourself that you've only got three more days to wait.
Update: We've added a picture of the mysterious SIM removal tool -- the shroud of secrecy is lifted after the break.

OMG! its a phone
There we go again, apple fan boys should be ashamed their "fruity" device fffiiinnnaaalllyyy has 3g........ oo oo wait no video? No bluetooth? No remobable battery??? OOOO its the same over priced mainstream "please the masses" device.
Ooo wait you have to activate it only in stores?
haha this just gets better every minute.
Yawn
me me!
anyone know what firmware it's running
anyone else think macgyver when they saw that sim card removal tool? what would we do if the iphone didn't come with a paperclip!? why, we'd have to get our own!
Anyone else glad they are keeping their first gen phone?
look at the smudges on the back of that thing!
doesn't the positioning of the screws on either side of the dock connector hint at them having something to do with the dock connector itself? perhaps for providing a method for securely attaching peripherals in the future? (for games, etc.?) why keep secret the "feature" of having a user replaceable battery at the initial announcement?
Anyone notice the power adapter is not the one shown on http://www.apple.com/iphone/specs.html
wow! i really love iPhone! It's awsome!..well OK, so this is geeking out but with Gates retiring and Jobs unveiling the new iPhone, someone had to do one last 'How do you Compare': Steve Jobs v. Bill Gates. So, with both of these guys who have dominated the technology world for the last 25 years,Tough Choice. I want BOTH! But when it comes down to it, the Xbox360 has more to offer. The iPhone has a bigger cool factor in showing off the tech toy at a bar in front of all the women. Xbox360 stays at home in your 'cave'. So, i guess the real question is whether or not the iPhone enough of a chick magnet that you don't need the Xbox360 when you get home that night? and i saw their most recent big ticket tech toys http://clashorama.com/index.php?id=178
