Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"We need a digital camera that can be switched on and fire off that first shot fast. It's not a commonly tracked statistic on any review site, and nobody seems to have this information for every camera. We were hoping other readers could inform us as to what small digital cameras can fire off their first pics in under a second (ideally under half a second). It needs to be small, but mostly, just really quick in operation. Thanks!"
Why not make it the true long awaited user friendly universal infrared remote as well? I do not want to remote my mac, I want to remote my friggin difficult Onkyo Receiver, cumbersome DVB-T settop box and the TV. Go ask Woz for some nice code for that. Me might have some good ideas for it on a shelf.
maybe because the iPhone doesn't have IR?
Get a Harmony remote.
@ bob
if the iphone could control more useful devices like a receiver or tv, then the douchebag from the NY iphone commercial can take another device out of his little baggie he carries around all the time and the pilot could remote control the airplane and screw the stupid air traffic controllers that obviously dont look at weather.com for their airport scheduling.
You all know what i'm talking about.
