Sony Ericsson "Patti" phone shows itself, gets renamed W902

A single shot of Sony Ericsson's "Patti" candybar phone was apparently making the rounds earlier this week, but a helpful member of the SE4M forums has now thankfully provided a whole batch of pics, as well as word that the phone has now been officially dubbed the W902. Apart from the 5-megapixel autofocus camera with an LED flash, however, this one looks to be a pretty standard SE handset, with it boasting all the usual Walkman-related features and tried and true design you've come to expect. No word on a release just yet, but you can at least get a good look at it by hitting up the link below.
But, what does this have to do with the iPhone3g?
...Probably nothing. but, this Sony will probably work and get activated with out any problems.
Not an iPhone, therefore totally redundant. However there is one thing that is really awesome about this handset and that is it's .......
I organize everything into two categories - iPhones & non-iPhones.
I like Sony Ericsson phones, I recently got a used w810i and have been more than pleased with it. I like how their menu system is intuitive like my old Nokia.

With the spewing-crap load of apple news lately I'm more excited about this than the iPhone. Honestly, paying $67/mo MORE than my current plan hardly seems worth it. I'll buy that gsxr1000 I've been eying up instead.

I don't know after using smartphones, I can seem to get back on using regular candy bar phones. But yea its nice change of pace to see something other than the iphone news

More likely than you think.
But seriously, good keys on a SE phone are extremely rare, so I'm glad once for a change.
They need to do something about their interface it is really dated and boring. I remember the one from my T610i and it is pretty much the same...

Honestly I have given up on Sony Ericsson, their camera on G800, C902 and C702 are total craps... though I'm still lusting over their upcoming C905 8mp cameraphone =)
Nokia camera are way much better.

So I am sure they changed the name keeping in mind this community. :-P
The design seems like the same old from Sony Ericsson, and the interface looks like that as well. That 5 MP autofocus though is incredible... if the pics come out looking as good as they should.
According to the picture is comes packaged in a burlap sack.
hopefully 5mp camera will become the standard soon, but i think it'll take ages for that to happen.
it's almost october by now...
how about a release date?
my 580 is a real mess. hope this 902 to do the job
