I went to the Apple store to get a case for my phone I bought yesterday and found out that if you want to get anything, you had to wait in line. If you were doing a repair or wanted to get a computer you'd have to wait in the line. The manager had a take it or leave it attitude. Unfortunately, most fanboys will gladly take it, but it just sounds like bad business sense to prevent all other purchases (not to mention customer bad will by not doing repairs).
I went into the Huntsville, AL Bridge Street Apple Store at around 10:30 this morning and there was some old guy at the door in a suit being a real jerk to people with this same attitude. I just wanted a case and had to wait in line also. Luckily, a nicer girl in an Apple t-shirt helped me get to their one employee who was helping non-iPhone customers.
