Anyone know if any of those downloadable install packages will work for Windows?
Or is it through some sick twist of fate that Mac users are the only ones who can kick Jobs in the ass and take $10 from him?
installed it overnight and everything went smoothly until I plugged it into my car. I have a USA-Spec Ipod adaptor for my Volvo and it worked great with previous software on my touch and even better on a 5G Ipod. Now it takes forever to sync to the car and I cant control anything. It plays songs at random, cannot advance to the next song, change playlist, or even pause when I turn off the car or radio like it used to, resulting in it killing the battery when the car is off. Version 2.1 cannot come soon enough!
I'm going to wait until someone (ziPhone I'm looking at you) releases a jailbreak tool for 2.0, I like the idea of the app store but I don't want to lose everything I have gotten used to already.
Can you still access the app store with a pirated version of 2.0?
