Yeah the integration is a bit tighter in that regard. However, if you don't have a PSP, then the price is not as attractive anymore. Personally, I don't rent THAT often, since I've seen so many movies, and I hate so many more, so $6 is not so bad, at least compared to our cruddy prices in NYC to watch a movie in theaters ($12.50 WTF)
I agree - the $5.99 pricing for most of the HD content was a complete downer and ruins this feature for me. $2 for a rental is fabulous, but I would be completely miserable to watch SD content on my 1080p set, so that's not an acceptable option either.

$5.99 for an HD rental doesn't sound so good, particularly since the Apple TV and DirecTV both had HD rentals for $4.99. What am I missing?
a lot. for example, "videos downloaded on your PS3 can be watched on multiple PSPs"
...and the Apple rentals can be watched on iPods and Macs. I am just bummed Sony decided to price these rentals so high.
