Pink and blue. Yuck.
What's with the triple play?
I was wondering about the insanely weird comments.
Then I realized it was Steffen Jobs.
He makes the "First" post seem enlightening.
"perfect for that fashion-conscious Windows Mobile nerd in your life (if that's not an oxymoron, we don't know what is)... blah blah blah"
I'm sure to get blasted by the "we're a blog!!!1" defense, but IMO thats pretty effin' moot.
Engadget gets more passive-aggressive every day toward anything Microsoft. Anything related to Vista is especially bad -- even that recent article about record sales was drenched in disingenuous drivel.
Le sigh.
#1 on my agenda is to get a handset with darker colors which is more appropriate for a male user. Baby Blue and cutie pie Pink are far too feminine.
#2. Even my avatar hates those colors. Loves WinMo but favors the color yellow.

Admittedly, there is nothing that would tempt me to buy a Blackjack, but this has got to be the worst marketing scheme ever.
"You don't like the Blackjack? Well what if we made it uglier? You want it now? Please? Come on!!"

I guess it's a matter of personal taste then.
i personally, have the bj2 in black, and these colors make the phone look cheap, and appeal to kids, its a wm6 phone its kinda a disgrace.

I hope the age of the business stiff is slowly dying. Seriously. Do these guys still think drab black/ gunmetal grey or faux silver / chrome is "business-like". Puhhleeeeeeezzzzz.
Bring in the different colours. Who caresssss what your colleagues think. Your colleagues are stiffs.
Now back to the topic:
This is all a plan to make blind you to the fact it's lacking wifi. Very unprofessional! Lack of wifi makes you look like an amateur!

No new products, just new colors for existing ones.

The Blackjack II is probably the best Windows Mobile phone out there, changing the colors won't negate that, nor does it mean product development has stopped the Blackjack III will supposedly arrive in october.
I have a BJ, was thinking about upgrading. I will grab the pink for a change.
