AOKI's deodorizing suits keep you so fresh, so clean (clean)
We're not even going to front -- some seriously bizarre air conditioning-related gizmos have emerged from the great nation of Japan. The latest concoction to deal with heat wave side effects actually has nothing to do with keeping folks cool; rather, AOKI's deodorant suits are designed to keep businessmen suffering from Hyperhidrosis adequately fresh. Most of the details are lost in (machine) translation, but all you need to know is that these outfits "suck out the smell of sweat using a silver ion." Yeah, that's totally worth the ¥61,950 ($575) asking price.

If it wasn't for all the immigrants that leave my country to work in america, who would fill those jobs?
Actually, in Japan we also have a spray on deodorant with dissolved Ag+ (silver ions) - it's been available for a couple years I think.
I've been using it for the last 5 months, and it works surprisingly well. My wife has me use it because she dislikes the smell of deodorant fragrances. This has no odor, and is supposed to last for 12 hours.
Two issues: it doesn't stop the perspiration, and in the recent scorching/humid Tokyo weather I've found that it stops working after 6 hours for me.
The worry I have is they'll find that silver ions cause some health issues at some point.
I like the Strong Bad reference in the title...
lol the picture the title of the post is just too funny.
