Thanks god I just purchased an X61 Tablet which has an excellent screen.
I have worked with 1400x1050 for several years now two Toshiba M200 and now an X61 and I wouldn't want to go down in resolution.
I use the laptop/tablet as my main workhorse and I would not buy a a screen with less resolution.
What is happening with the world? 4:3 format is excellent for work, but a 16:9 format is not.
It seems as I have to buy a few X61T now to save for later use as stupid as it sounds. Toshiba did a stupid thing when making SXGA+ an option on their M400 now Lenovo make a mistake if they won't provide a computer with a decent screen for work. It seems as it is the media fanatics controlling the laptop market. A WXGA computer looks just like a cheap portable DVD player and I wouldn't want one for work.
The phone has 256MB of RAM and a 1GHz processor, which do the job reasonably well, though the Anna interface will likely leave something to be desired for many smartphone users.
