Logitech's
diNovo Edge has always been one of the sexiest Bluetooth keyboards around, with its circular-scrolling trackpad, orange-backlit keys, and slick dock / charging cradle, but Apple fans have been left out of the party -- until now. Yep, there's finally a Mac version of the Edge. Apart from some new OS X-centric key labels and driver software (sadly, it's the same iffy Logitech Control Center that ships with the company's mice), there's not much new here -- but the lower $159 price tag is certainly welcome. Should be shipping soon, we're told.
I have this keyboard running on my Linux machine. It plug & plays with Ubuntu just dandy with only a few minor key binding problems which can easily be remedied.
@absurdio: the only keys that are back lit are the function keys when you hit the function button, and also the circular track pad lights up when you touch it. Oh, and volume slider also lights up...Pretty groovy. I'm sure if you look on images.google you'll find a picture of one alight.
I'm using my dinovo edge PC version on my mac, but installing LCC I cannot configure any key.
LCC does not fing any device...
It seems this LCC version only supports the new dinovo Edge Mac version...
Too bad... I still cant configure my multimedia keys...
I have this keyboard early version and several of the keys died early on. Impossible to repair but I love the mx 900 mouse that came with it.
