This woulda been a good chance for YOUTUBE to start marketing products. They could sell a camcorder that specificaly converts directly to its upload format and offers high quality for that format. Slap "Youtube" on it and ship em out.
It's not marketed by YouTube - but it does have a setting to automatically upload to YouTube. There was a CNET first look review of the camera. They said it is HD "resolution" but not HD quality like you would imagine. And what would you expect for $180????? Perfection, I think not.
The review said it is a better version of the Flip.

Yes it does record in HD - if you define HD as 720p resolution. Most of you are thinking 1080p is HD.
