To Harold That's NOT how blood glucose control algorithms work. You are using layman's common sense. But mathematical algorithms can do much more than than. I studied Control Engineering (Undergraduate level, though) and next year I will to go to graduate school and do research on blood glucose control algorithms. (by the way, I have type 1 Diabetes, too)
The phone has 256MB of RAM and a 1GHz processor, which do the job reasonably well, though the Anna interface will likely leave something to be desired for many smartphone users.
