Not that we weren't
already aware of the FinePix F60fd, but it -- alongside the
S2000HD, J150w, J120, J110w and J100 -- was just made official courtesy of Fujifilm. As for the aforementioned F60fd, it's packin' a 12-megapixel CCD sensor, 25MB of internal memory, an xD / SD / SDHC card slot, VGA movie mode, 3x optical zoom, 3-inch LCD monitor and USB 2.0 connectivity. If you're looking for technical pizazz, the 10-megapixel S2000HD is the one to eye, sporting a 15x optical zoom and a video out port. You can take a peek at the rest of the ho hum crowd in the links below.

At least the model numbers aren't complicated or anything
woot
There doesn't seem much reason to upgrade my F40fd to the F60fd.
How exciting.
Clearly, they didn't take that picture with a similar camera. It's ironic.
Clearly they wouldn't, they are not suggesting it's a professional camera capable of artistic commercial shoots, no more than Sony would shoot a Handycam TV commercial on a Handycam!
Why do they have to raise the pixel count? Why not make a nice 7 MegaPixel camera with perfect low light performance?
The F50 from last year was already a 12 MP camera so no increase there.
I really have to wonder if they're really selling more cameras with this so-so 12MP sensor than the old high-iso shooting (and reasonably good up to ISO1600) 6MP one.
because these can probably shoot at 1600 ISO as well?
I agree on the F60fd. what was Fujifilm thinking? The F50fd and F100fd are both 12-pixel. why not made this one a 10 or 9? I'm just hoping this model performs better IQ than the F50..
