It can take a temperature reading every second or every 4 hours, 12 minutes, and 19 seconds, if that's what you wanted, up to a maximum 12 hour interval (two readings a day). I wonder about memory or maximum possible number of data points. Also, internet won't tell you the internal room temperature.
