Easycar U7 DMB / GPU unit launches in South Korea
We're (so) looking forward to the day when we Americans don't have to look longingly at the amazing navigation units that pop up every month or so in South Korea, but until that fateful day arrives, we'll continue drooling courtesy of the Easycar U7. This screen-dominated conglomerate features a 7-inch LCD, DMB TV tuner, 19-millimeter thick frame and an integrated multimedia player / text viewer. All that for just ?199,000 ($191)? Nah, we're not envious at all.

Okay, I admit, I'm a little green with envy here.

looks very plain but highly functional. not a fan of the GUI tho. plus sat nav along side media / tv? not sure road safety groups would allow that in the UK!

Honestly, Korea could care less about road safety. The highway system is private and wonderfully maintained, but taxi drivers and pretty much everyone drive like maniacs. Even the bus drivers just roll along in the middle of the road. Imagine everyone in New York got a BMW or a Mercedes and wanted to test drive the crap out of it. Thats what Korean drivers are like. However, TV while in the taxi's is quite fun.

Well first you'd have to actually have a DMB like service in the UK for these to work, and they haven't even got DAB working correctly yet...
