Worn out pants collection to show mobile progression
Just as wallets leave impressions in rear pockets, cellphones can do the same for pockets in the front. One Aram Bartholl has decided to start a collection of battle-tested jeans that "show traces of mobile tech development in society." We've no idea if he's planning to tackle the whole thing on his own, but we'd suggest buying up old pants from around the globe in order to amass a sizable collection before death sooner. The image you see above shows what happens if you walk around for three solid years pocketing an original Nokia 6600. Anyone got any impressions (SFW, please) they'd like to share in comments below?

Welcome to Canada... iPhone is locked in for three years (that's why I didn't bought one!)... like pretty much all contracts from major companys... always two or three years...
This sucks big time :(
I actually had a w800i almost wear through the entire pocket! Now I got an w880 wearing a smaller hole on pretty much the same spot... Wonder if I could sell him mine?
i always have one on my jeans because i carry around a longboard skateboard with me practically everywhere i go that im not able to skate on it so the grip tape rubs against the jutting out phone in my pocket and i end up with small holes in all my jeans where the corner of my phone is - if only they could make a circular phone that wasnt crap
I keep my cell in my back pocket, but my iPod definitely left an impression :P
On my oldest pair of jeans, there is wear where the corner of my phone sits..
I have the same from my Sony Erricson K800! Hate to think how big my new one will be...... i have a nokia N95.
