BlackBerry Bold hits Rogers on August 21st, so get your thumbs worked-out
Well, it looks like that long, painful wait is finally over. According to all kinds of tipsters, the BlackBerry Bold touches down for the first time in North America (in its home country of Canada, obviously) come August 21st (that's this Thursday, in case you don't own a calendar, computer, or have any friends). That's right -- the Bold will land on Rogers (where else?) with a price tag set somewhere between the dark valley of $300 and $400, according to Research In Motion co-CEO Jim Balsillie. Reports say the phone will be available from other carriers by the end of the week, though we don't have any definitive rumblings that confirm such heavenly ideas. You'll know more when we do, of course.

One more comment. The I phone has a suck speaker phone. And I can out type anyone on a screen keyboard. They suck...period.....My friend just bought an I phone 3g. He works right beside me and uses AT&T, just like me....He can't use his I phone...cause his widdy biddy I phone doesn't get any reception there.. Guess what.... My BB curve does.......
I have to say I was a fan of the iPhone. Key word here, was.
I am on my 2nd 1st gen iPhone, the first one died in about 3 months. The replacement has been flaky and drops a lot of calls, could just be AT&T, but when it was Cingular my Sony Ericsson hardly ever dropped a call.
Today I looked down at my iPhone and had a little blinking dock me to iTunes message. I did that and I get a blinking apple logo on and off. That's all it will do.
So my 2nd dead iPhone in a year. I'm done with it. I sure as heck don't want a 3G iPhone replacement with all the problems it's having right now. This might be a good time to move to the Blackberry Bold if AT&T is getting it.
The iPhone software has some nice features, but I hate the touch screen keyboard. Way too many errors typing on it and it's slow slow typing. The battery life is horrible on the iPhone and I never used the iPod part of it as it's sure to kill the battery in short order. Not having a user replaceable battery was just nuts. Good for Apple as they make more money on you, but that with the other problems has caused me to switch.
Get your thumbs out and ready, because with rogers you will need to count a few more of them legal tenders for the service.
The Blackberry Bold from Rogers is here. It's $399 CDN on a 3 Year Voice and Data Plan.
Seriously all you iphone fanboys make me laugh!
If the bold would of came out before the iphone like it should of, all you iphone fanboys woulnt be saying iphone this or iphone that for every new device that comes out. Why? because most of you iphone preachers are stuck up steves ass and blinded by shit.
Simply put the iphone is a nice toy. Dont get me wrong here im not saying the iphone is not good. On the contrary but it remains a toy, the blackberry is a more serious device. 90% of the iphone users use them to watch youtube, play simple games and chat on facebook. Blackberry users use them for work so totally 2 different kinds of crowd
How many years of experience does Apple have in mobile device???? Compare that to RIM. Dont ask yourself why companies dont give iphones to their employes ;)
