WatchScale attempts to become the new calculator watch
Move over, Casio Databank (and similar) -- a formidable opponent just rolled into the ring. While the aforementioned timepiece has been the geek watch of choice for years now, Jennings' WatchScale is all set to give it a real run for the money. This wristwatch not only displays the time in brilliantly blue fashion, but it also weighs lightweight objects (up to 300-grams) with an accuracy of 0.1-grams. We know, you're already bracing for a quadruple-digit (pre-decimal) price tag, but there's no need for worry -- after all, you can procure your own for just $17.90.

Hmmm... Postage ?
Ezzactly! Why just the other day, I was thinking, "Hmmm...how much postage should I use to mail a paperclip?"
I have a pocket scale with 0.1g accuracy I use to measure looseleaf tea.
I don't know why I would need a portable wrist version though...
Can anyone come up with a legitmate non-drug related use for this thing?!?!
Baking
No, a NON-DRUG use.
The best thing about this is: it _DOESN'T_ tell the time. That's right, no watch function in this watch scale.
[weed reference here]
wheres the beeper?
lol, even drug dealers don't use beepers any more.
Mobile pharmacists? Damn, still drug related, but not illegal drugs, at least.
Ok, hmm, you could also use it to weigh explosives... not looking any better is it.
but is it NIST traceable?
looks dumb and easily breakable in my opinion
yes, it should be filed under crapgadget despite its "stylish leather wristband".
it's only usefulness would be as a novelty gift for you high school chem teacher b/c less face it, if this is used by any party in a drug transaction, someone is gonna get shot.
PLUS: It has a 20 year replacement warranty.
Drug running on the run.
Do they do a milligram version for those who prefer the more exotic products? ;)
The police are going to love these watches, it's like writing "I have drugs on me" in big letters on your forehead.
...but how will *they* rig this one? That's a must...
Jennings' scales are crap, but I still would have bought like 5 of these back in the day.
Meh... I'll wait until a 1kg-capable model comes out. Until then I'll just keep using my trusty *postal scale*.
LOL @ ▀█▀ █ ▀█▀ ▄█▀
Classic, dude.
Yeah, it'd be kinda hard to measure out ounces and ounces of doja/ganja/weed/maryjane/pot/wacky tobaccky/buddha/(your choice of word here) on that little watch. Definitely for coke... does it come with a little measuring spoon?
And yeah, SOOPERGOOMAN mentioned it, you would need to take that thing off all the time!
Okay, tits, we get it! You're a drug dealer! It really was funny, but now you're done.
OMG. Street profits will rise.
Accurate to .1g?
pssshhh... you can get one not much bigger for the same price that goes to .05g

or, of course... ebay...
Oh, and "Powered by 2 LR-44 Batteries".
Great, because I really want to keep those suckers spare when my scale dies in the middle of a transaction. I have a scale that runs off CR2032s, and that's annoying enough. I switched to good ole' AA and AAA-based scales now.
Scale batteries die FAST. That's why most have an auto-off after 30 seconds. You can always grab a spare AA or AAA from something.
Of course, if you're dying to have "the smallest digital scale ever made (2008)".
They have much cooler scales on their site, I will give them that, though. The CD scale and matchbook ones are PRETTY COOL. Check 'em out.
