Albatron intros Tee PC mini tablet

Albatron apparently had a prototype of one of these on display at Computex earlier this year, but it looks like it's now nailed everything down and taken the wraps off the final version of its very first so-called "mini tablet PC," which is now officially dubbed the Tee PC (or Tee PC Rocker, according to the box). This one bucks the current trends with a 400MHz ARM926 processor, which leads off the spec list that also includes a 7-inch 800 x 480 touchscreen, a whopping 128MB of RAM, 128MB of NAND Flash, an SD card slot for expansion, built-in WiFi and Bluetooth and, last but not least, Windows CE 6.0 for an OS. Unfortunately, while it's apparently "ready for market," there's no word on a price or release date just yet. Then again, unless it really undercuts some of the other tablets and netbooks on the market, we can't quite see this one shaking things up too much.

That devices won't be a competitor for Nokia N810. Even its price would be the same. N810 can be put into pocket and it's open source :)
Well, this Albatron is nice. 400 MHz is quite enough and 128 MB RAM too (don't missunderstand, there's no more shared RAM/ROM memory since Windows Mobile 2005 / CE 5.0). Has anybody of you have worked with Sigmarion III? It's 530 (overclocked) MHz is more than enough for all apps and enough for web browsing. And the fact that it has 64 MB of shared memory doesn't mean anything, i have only some files from english interface in ROM and registry = 1800 KB, the amount of free RAM is 55 MB.
And don't compare this miserable communicators like 3" XPeria to this GREAT HPCS. The size of screen really matters. 5" is good, but 7" is georgious. And don't say you really need 384 MB of RAM (+I think most of them are used by the huge XPeria's system).
CE 6.0 is most up-to-date. The newest Windows Mobile 6.1 is based on Windows CE 5.2.
Most of the PPC apps launch fullscreen on HPCs, they don't launch in a separate windows smaller than 800x454 (480 - 26 pixel menu bar).
This Albatron ROCKS. But i wish it had a keyboard. :) At least attachable, as Samsung XP40.
I want it as well. I could use it along with my acer aspire one for note taking. 12 hours of battery life is just something I needed from a 8 inch pda.
