Pure gets with the internet radio game, debuts EVOKE Flow
Man, talk about quick reflexes. Not even a fortnight after Radiopaq announced its WiFi radio-enabled Rp5, along comes Pure Digital to keep things competitive. The stylish-in-its-own-way EVOKE Flow not only taps into the intarwebz for streaming music, but it also includes FM / DAB tuners and support for DAB+. Expect it to hit British tables next month for £150 ($279).

Ouch, $279 for just a radio? That's a lot of money since I can get the same thing by logging into my local computer and going to a free internet music channels!

Also, snooze handle?
I thought it said sneeze handle at first. I really would love a sneeze handle.

If you're willing to plop over $280 on a single speaker radio, may interest you in this amazing real estate opportunity. You see, I've come into possession of a bridge just outside of Manhattan...

I would rather put that money towards saving Pandora......

That's a price error, right? $28 I would believe, and maybe pay.

Why not buy a PSP for $169 and use FreeRadio (or the crummier PSP supplied web radio programs) to do the same thing? You can spend some of the extra cash on a pair of powered computer speakers and still have change.

I actually real fancied getting this when I herd about it.
That is until I saw it... I think it really is hideous. Just the wrong mix of old fashioned and modern design, ew.
BTW: Will people stop living in a magical world where products in UK cost their equivalent $ price in the US.

Just get a Nokia N800 for $200, you get an FM radio, Internet Radio Tuner, Web Browser and media player. What a rip!
