LG's N4B1 NAS auto-archives your junk to Blu-ray

When we're thinking NAS, we're thinking Terabytes of network attached storage. Fortunately, while LG's N4B1 might be the world's first NAS with integrated Blu-ray recorder, it also supports up to 4TB of disk... with room to grow thanks to 3x USB and 1x e-SATA jacks. I was going to say this was a stupid idea, but it does make bizarre sense.

However if you have 4TB+ of data, then how many discs would it take? Far too many.

It would atleast need some type of disc feeder(like a printer does for paper) so you don't need to manually insert more discs every 50GB.

Honestly, can't they just show a product and not a chick? Look, I like women too, but it certainly doesn't help our frustrated/horny image when you trounce around a beautiful set of eyes (read: breasts) just because you made something neat. Just calm down and show us the damn thing. If that little box in the corner is what we're supposed to be excited about, it should at least take up most of the image space. Really, it totally distracts from what should be important.

Yeah, in an ideal world, we wouldn't need models posing with the gadgets. But, when you ever you see a post with any female on it, how much of the comments are directed at the girl, and not the product? (I'd say about 1/5 of the comments here are about the NAS.)

The people looking for a NAS or upgrade would look at this post regardless of who is on it. The rest of us would see the model, then go, "Hey, there's a product there too!" And, since most of us considering to buy a NAS are guys who need it for storing pr0n, movies and more pr0n... You also need to consider that it's the norm in Korea to not get home til 11 or so, which makes finding free time to go out difficult. A nice pair of eyes, as you say, is always a welcome distraction from the mundane world.

But, seriously... LG, what gives? There are tons of hot, cut-up women in Korea (facial plastic surgery is huge here) and THIS was the best you could come up with??

Forget NAS Raids. They are far too expensive for what they do. Next time around I'm just getting a full size tower to serve me my legitimate copies of movies and music (the pr0n is illegal though).
