The iPhone has those, and they are just some of the many reasons to go for an iPhone over an iPod touch. Apple does not care about the iPod touch nearly as much as the iPhone. That's why, when the touch first shipped, it had all these "iPhone not connected" and "iPhone not recognized" messages pop up when it should have said "iPod not connected" et cetera. Also, Apple officially named the OS on the iPhone/touch "OS X iPhone", which kind of hints at the possibility that Apple doesn't give a shit about the iPod touch.
