Nokia's N96 gets unboxed on video, looks exactly like you'd expect it to
We won't kid ourselves here -- you know good and well what Nokia's N96 looks, feels and tastes like, but given that it just started shipping in Europe within the last 24 hours, we figured it prudent to pass along the first proper unboxing of the retail unit. Like we said, don't expect any surprises with this one, but we still suspect you'll leave the video waiting after the jump with a smile on your face.

It's doomed, as are all phones with the same old rounded-off square button in the middle. Booooo-ring. *sigh*
Care to explain why considering they sell millions of the N-series?
When you say catch up are we talking about the same Nokia that has over 50% of the world's smartphone market?
Just so, you know, we can be sure.
You make it sound like Nokia are in trouble, but I'm not so sure. Just in the 3 months from April 2008 to June 2008 (the latest Qtr for which figures are available), Nokia sold 122,000,000 phones worldwide. That means at a rate of almost half a billion phones a year. They must be doing something right.
Wow, I've work with macs since i was 5. Am 32 now and I pack a mega house of a mac system. Am a mac nerd tobe honest. But what is the load of crap you are posting.
Ok, first off Window Mobile 6 is more functional then the iphone UI. second, there are very basic things the iphone can't do as a phone right. It annoys the hell out of me because these are basic features am talking about.
And lastly, HTC, Google, and Samsung manage to make a better media phones with better specs and better built then the iphone.
BTW, Apple's stocks been going down steadily since January. Not a lot but enough.
