I prefer movies of the 2.35:1 and 2.40:1 ratio so the "lens memory feature" is the only thing that really matters to me here because of the superwide 106" 2.35:1 screen that I built. This projector's aspect ratio is still 16:9, seems they could have made it in a superwide format! I got the Sanyo 2000 back in May 08. Right now, when I view a movie that's not superwide, I have to get up and lens shift and zoom down to watch it and now the image is smaller with black bars on the sides. Most demos on the web don"t show how this new feature really works? Is the screen their using 16:9 or superwide! This one fellow from Japan I guess, tries to explain and it's downright hard to understand him because of his english! Another question..do I still need to have a masking system? If that's the case, then I'll just keep doing what I'm doing!!!!!
