TiVo HD XL DVR hands-on at CEDIA

Well, what can we say? Here we have a TiVo HD with a subtle "XL" logo there on the bottom left, a more capacious hard drive and a Series 3 remote. That being the case, at least the one parked at CEDIA was outstandingly shiny -- seriously, check it out over at Engadget HD.

nice, a 1tb internal drive. Does it have e-sata port on the back as well? if so that would give you a 2tb capacity. I have a 750gb capacity on my Series 3, and shows last forever on it, bravo Tivo, bravo!

Tivo gives you the 1TB drive thats nice

I have Windows Media center, came with a 500GB drive (oh but wait) I will just add a 1TB or maybe a 2TB or maybe a NAS to store recorded TV

Funny its been able to add extra storage for like 5 years now

so why is Tivo cutting edge again? oh ya free EPG with WMCE

I have two Tivos, one old Pioneer with DVD burner and a Tivo HD I just bought this year. If it wasn't for that I might buy one of these. Regardless, nothing beats the interface, the utility and ease of use of Tivo for me.
