It's a mouse, it's a television remote control -- really, besides a bag of chips and a great Belgian lager like Budweiser, what else is needed for a sedentary lifestyle? The C@T-one (get it, cat one?) ships with a 2.4GHz wireless USB dongle and should work with your PC-based media center or
FORIS.HD TV. ¥12,600 (about $120), problem solved.
Update: This little remote works with a wide variety of televisions, tuners, and video recorders from Sharp, Sony, Panasonic and many more. Full list after the break with a picture of the device in hand for scale.

Since when is Budweiser a Belgian lager?
"Belgian lager like Budweiser?"
Because Anheuser-Busch merged with InBev, doesn't make Budweiser a Belgian beer!
That's my opinion, as a Belgian.
Some true Belgian beers: Jupiler, Duvel, Leffe, De Koninck, Rodenbach, Hoegaarden, ...
This article is about the C@T-one, not your fancy Australian coffees.
The Czech Budweiser is better anyways.
I see similarities between Belgian beer and American beer:
Hoegaarden - Liquidised porridge + alcohol
Budweiser/Miller - Liquidised white bread + alcohol
I prefer a nice single malt, or my other Scottish favourite - Tennents Lager :-s
Ahh, Tennents...
I have fond memories of standing in parks, sipping that rancid golden nectar from a can and freezing my under-age tits off.
None of these beverages compare to a luke-warm Pabst. Keep it classy, Engadget.
C@T-one? Cat-one? No, I don't get it.
Unless they're talking CAT-1 like in Cycling (Category 1 - highest level of experience and/or power output/endurance on a bicycle) I too have no idea what the hell they're talking about. And I REALLY doubt they're talking about cycling.

It's a toilet seat cover!
No it's not!
Hmm... Screws? Battery door? It's magic.
But, @ is pronounced "at" so this should be, officially, pronounced "cat-t".
that thing costs them 1 yuan to make, max
As much as i like combo mice/remotes this thing looks pretty useless as a mouse (G3 imac mouse YUK!) and as a remote, large circular discs don't really fit my hand too well.
