Don't forget, T-Mobile and Google unveil the first Android phone tomorrow!
Just a reminder, we're going to be at the Android and T-Mobile event tomorrow morning, so be sure and set your alarms. You can (finally) expect the big unveil of the first commercially available Android device (we don't want to ruin it, but it's going to be the G1 -- or Dream as we used to call it). We wanted to give you another heads up so you'll know where and when it's going down. Pertinent info below.

Live from T-Mobile's Android event in New York City

Lawl at Mountain/Eastern AM/PM.
the screen name i've always thought all along since Full House
well except for Bob rather than Paul. ok, moving right along...
Um, 10:30 PM Eastern?
They mean VERY eastern. Just a little west of Tokyo.
ya definitely needs to be 10:30AM
"and sometimes, well, the bar eats you"
"is that an Eastern thing?"
"far from it, Dude"
930 PM and 1030 PM for central and eastern standard times??? typo??
My v3 Razor just started dieing yesterday and i look at this and cry that Verizon has not teamed up with google.
wow this is informative
Exactly, when it comes to the iPhone, they at least put forth the effort to make up news.
Too bad that's the ugliest phone ever made. Otherwise I'd be excited about this.
I can think of at least 6 phones that are uglier.
Wow lowranked for saying the truth...
Android fanboys indeed...
Sorry but this phone is just plain awful from a visual standpoint.
well there's always the Armani phone if you like pretty accessories to match your purse
I hope all the anti apple people will be satisfied with the live blogging...
Not unless they have a video for the unboxing in each of the aforementioned cities :P
(I'm not all super anti-Apple or anything, just saying).
I, for one, am looking forward to the introduction of the Android. I'm not in the market, because I tend to keep my phones for at least 3 years, but Google is more innovative than the vast majority of companies out there. What we see tomorrow will be a peek into the future of all smartphones.
And if I happen to be too busy at work, well then, I won't see the news. Or if I get bored of Android news, I'll do something else with my time.
::crosses finger for quick unlock solution::
kinda sad for Google that we have to be told "don't forget". Imagine being told "don't forget about the iPhone event tomorrow!"...
they did it for the ipods ...I cant remember for the iphone.
Quick question....cuz I'm really curious if all this craze/hype surrounding Android and the "Dream" or G1 as it will be call will actually translate into real business.
How many of you Engadget readers will be switching to T-Mobile because of this phone? I'm guessing a lot of T-Mobile customers will upgrade but I'm really curious as to whether current Sprint, Verizon, or AT&T customers will jump on board with T-Mobile because they feel that strongly about Android as a OS platform...
Personally I'm waiting for the Touch HD...whatever carrier has that phone with 3G capabilities will be my company...hopefully it's Sprint.
I really wish they had ommited that odd part with the 4 or 5 dedicated buttons, in terms of looks the 1St Generation iPhone PWNS it.
No, the back of the iPhone with the silver back and black bottom looks absolutely hideous. And the chrome looks tacky on the iPhone. But it's not a looks contest, it's about functionality. The iPhone OS is locked down and Android is open.
So you can read a liveblog about it or watch it live at http://www.T-MobileG1.com/

A day late and a dollar short I guess... oh well.
Geez, first the Adobe CS4 event, then the Android event, tomorrows gonna be awesome!
It's a shame Google / HTC couldn't have got Android going on the new Touch HD. Now THAT would have been the real iPhone killer!
Hopefully it will be a Steve Jobs style keynote... otherwise the device would be a fail.
Well;
Don´t forget to bring a towel !
This will be right before my Art History class starts. Sorry Roman art, you will not be learned 2morrow
now we will find out what the android phone is all about there is one other website doing live coverage http://live.techztalk.com
Cant wait!
Hopefully it will be in the UK on pay as you go then I will buy it!!!! My stupid old Sony Ericsson phone crapped out!
