Mysterious Korean pocket projector spotted, mistaken for cheap webcam
It seems like it wouldn't be a Monday without another pocket projector sighting, no matter how fleeting. This specimen was recently spotted in Korea, and while we have no idea who the manufacturer is or what it's called, we do have some specs. This device features 640 x 480 resolution (scalable up to 1280 x 800), 4:3 aspect ratio, manual focus, accepts both NTSC and PAL sources, and projects a maximum of 70 inches. The projector sits on an adjustable tripod and gets up to 40 minutes on a single charge... now all it needs is a name, price, distributor, and release date!

ROFLCOPTER
greatest title ever
I think the comment to projector post ratio is about 3 to 1.
And it looks to be mounted on a gorillapod! That would be a truly excellent combination. No more futzing with getting a nice flat place for a projector, just hang it from the chandelier or wrap it around a railing. I'll take 3 please!
Probably a third-party knock-off. I see more of them these days than actual Gorillapods. Still, putting a tripod mount on those things is eminently sensible.
How do we know so many specs about it but not who makes it :-) *scratching head

Is that a projector in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?
And since you are at it make it wireless too, and very cheap of course.
At first glance I thought the title read "pocket protector"...I need glasses!

I made the same mistake, and I've got glasses. I think the idea of a "pocket projector" is still new enough that when I come across the word I assume I'm reading about something a bit more familiar.
Seriously, a pocket protector worth posting about here should be *some* pocket protector... not that I've ever used one... er...
This thing must have one heck of a tripod. The unit's weight is 160 grams, but the package weight is 20 Kilograms. Neutron star material?

Erm...

Make a belt buckle out of this projector. You can project psychedelic images on to your t-shirt.
