The problem I see here is that leather is not perfectly smooth, which means that every single one of these disks is going to be unbalanced. Half the disks will end up being coasters and the rest will need to burn at 1x.
Henry Winkler has to eat somehow. Or does the network own his likeness and image. In any case, Mr and Mrs C would be proud.

Well even if it is, there still are some technical issues.
What happens if it gets hot, eg in your car's stereo, or an overheating iMac with slot loading drive?
My iMac's drive mechanism has gotten so sensitive that I can't even put commercial dvds in it because of the often smooth label. One of these in my drive would get stuck for sure.

But did you not know that cows and other livestock produce methane, which inturn is bad for the eviroment. there are studies going on at the moment in the UK to see if we redueced the number of livestock, if it would be possalbe to reduce the damage on the ozone.
So it you want to be green buy these CD's

Stiv, you can argue that you will not stop eating animals because they taste good to you, but you cannot say it is right because "humans have been eating meat for 100Ks of years". That is bullsh**.
Humans have been slaving and discriminating black people for thousand of years, and that does not make these actions right (or good).
As you can see, it takes more than "100Ks of years" to humans realize that their actions, tasting or not good, have consequences. It can be drinking milk, eating meat or even buying leather cds.
Unless you raise cows for living, there is no reason for you to state against people who ask others to eat more vegetable or to kill less animals.

We're eating millions of cows every day no matter what, there's plenty of excess cheap leather that would just be thrown away. It's not like they selected and killed an animal just for your phone case.

Since the case says 'For video recording use' and '120 mins' at the top, I'd assume this is for important events like wedding videos, children's plays and concerts, or corporate awards ceremonies. Just so you know it's an important video and under no circumstances is it to be discarded.
For things like the aforementioned, I think I might be interested in these discs. Not to backup trivial stuff, but to make and/or gift an important event on DVD-video.

Firstly, apparently human meat has the taste and texture of beef, except a little sweeter but despite it being seemingly "yummy" I wouldn't want to eat it.

We humans also don't have claws and I could go on for hours on this topic but simply ask yourself would you be capable of jumping on a large cow, knocking it to the ground and taking a large bite from its rear hind? Of course not, why? Because you are not a carnivore.

With these wonderful things called tools we are. You could make the same argument about living in cold climates or even using the internets or flying. And hell, our closest living relatives, chimpanzees, eat termites and hunt other animals for food.
