Purported Vodafone BlackBerry Storm screen shots emerge
We've seen most everything about the BlackBerry Storm that Verizon wanted us to see, but this is the first real (clear) glimpse at what the UI is apt to look, taste and smell like whenever it decides to ship. Of course, we'd still caution you to take all of this with a grain of salt until Vodafone comes clean, but the screen shots captured in the read link do look fairly believable. Can you stand any more teasin'? If so, you know where to head.

I realize the screen is pretty big, but does ANYONE work with spreadsheets on their phone? I know it can be done with WM phones, but it's got to be pretty miserable
The Dude @ Sep 26th 2008 12:21AM
Editing is balls but viewing them is fine and quite useful. I mean, at most you're just updating/editing a few entries but you've done most of the work on a computer.

Oh nice! not the best way to show off the keyboard with excel, i'm sure it'd be more practical for texting / e-mail / IM. I'm really excited for this to launch!
wako @ Sep 26th 2008 12:08AM
EWW! I been waiting for this?! Send it back to the R&D department please =/
Tony @ Sep 26th 2008 12:13AM
whats so bad about it? They keys are large and laid out pretty clearly, I don't see what the disappointment is about. lol
Tony @ Sep 26th 2008 12:12AM
Finally! this looks promising, Im really excited for this :)
HalfJoey @ Sep 26th 2008 12:27AM
If it had a keyboard, maybe.

Wow of all the companies to make a touch phone, this one doesnt have a keyboard. Thats one of the biggest reasons I loved my past two blackberries. sigh.
somebody7 @ Sep 26th 2008 1:00AM
Then this phone is not for you...plain and simple. Go look at the bold, if ATT ever releases it.
Darkest Daze @ Sep 26th 2008 1:41AM
That's what the bold is for. They made this for the touchscreen market and that one for the physical keyboard market.
Darkest Daze @ Sep 26th 2008 1:43AM
You've got to be kidding me, Engadget. I just replied to this guy with the same thing that someone else did 41 minutes ago. Except, his reply wasn't there until I submitted mine....way to make me look stupid.
Tommy @ Sep 26th 2008 12:59AM
but does it have a 3.5mm???
Jake @ Sep 26th 2008 12:01PM
3.5mm = Yes. Check previous Storm tags for the leaked spec sheets.
Jake @ Sep 26th 2008 12:04PM
Nevermind, I found it for you.

AndrewC @ Sep 27th 2008 1:34PM
Surely this is a joke. How are you going to enter numerical items to the spreadsheet without any numbers on the keyboard UI?
