I think this electric bicycle looks great for the price. Hey, you get what you pay for. I have seen some great looking ebikes (some of them you can see on my site: http://www.electricbikesnscooters.com ) for four times the price if that's what you want. It's just like anything else, if you want higher quality, then cough up. Personally, that is the way I would go, especially when dealing with mechanical objects. Anyway, my take is to get great quality if you can afford it, but if you can't then this Schwinn will do just fine.
