Connectland's USB multi-cellphone charger is quite small, fragile
Compared to other cellphone charging pads out there, Connectland's USB Multi-Cellular Phone Charger is mighty minuscule. The box gets power via a USB plug and then pipes it to eight different connectors that fit into mobiles from Samsung, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Nokia, etc. We dig that Brando throws in a "foam rubber" to keep this in while traveling, but honestly, would it really take more than two unanticipated jaunts to break every last prong from this thing? She's $18 if you're shaking your head from left to right.[Via Gadgets-Weblog]

Its really good for $18 !
An $18 pile of shit is still a pile of shit.
the concept is neat, the practical application isn't there. what are you doing with multiple cellphones? that
's one thing that is explainable, but what are you doing losing multiple cell phone cables and expecting to hang onto this... it's as if it's designed without its demographic in mind... klutzes.
Stick your phone on the top of that thing and if the connectors are anywhere as bad as the old Sony Ericsson ones, your phone is going to fall off, possibly ruining your phone's nice glossy finish. I can see this being more of a pain in the ass than useful.
connect all devices that use chinese pirated batteries to this, surge it a bit, and you have a DIY cluster grenade.
Looks like crap... AND completely unuseful to me!
Like you say guys... looks very fragile, and probably is!
i tried using a foam rubber once, but it broke inside her.
If you want a really usefull multi-use charger check out this one from Naztech. Its a 3 in 1 charger. Has ac/dc/usb. When you click on this link its down the page. Its inexpensive and supports any device that has a usb charge cord. When you purchase one for your phone you sometimes get a standard usb cord with it.

You must have a lot of phones (of different models) to need this...
Or you could woo a hottie at the gate before a flight.
There's a dongle joke begging to happen.
Garbage. We need less proprietary plugs, not more. This thing just encourages cell phone makers to keep doing what they've been doing.
"Does it work in Europe?"
"You need... an adapter."
