Press shots of Verizon's BlackBerry Storm surface
So you've already seen what RIM's BlackBerry Storm looks like in Vodafone garb, but if your feeble mind just can't envision what it'd look like with a Verizon logo on there, feast your retinas on this. A few new press shots of the VZW Storm have swooped in, though there's nary a surprise to be found. Still, we know you enjoy gawking, so hit the read link for a few more angles. As for a hard release date? Puhlease.

Honestly, I really hope this phone has a good response, I had a chance to see the spy video before verizon banned it, and the guy's review was that you have to actually press the screen (rather than touching it), no wi-fi, no front camera, verizon navigator witch costs 9 box a month, WTF,, I mean if all this is true and verizon continues like this........ who knows what will happen. I did some research and found out thet always europe gets the cool phones, why tha FFF USA can not bring for example the HTC touchHD, or the samsung f480, or even the prada,,,,
This storm has a lot of expectations, I really hope I dont have to eat my words and have to switch to the infamous IPHONE!!!!
Think about it this way, now the defending champion is the I-Phone, competitors goal: crush it, how? dont block all the cool features!! memory, wi-fi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! , If someone from verizon reads this, please have merci on your customers, we want to support you, give us the tools. ;)
Same problem as before, no open GPS. They are only listing VZNavigator as a GPS Option and no listing of "GPS" in the features from Verizon. When will Verizon Marketing and Management understand that consumers want a choice? Charge an extra $15 for the device, but give me the choice to use any GPS solution I choose without the $9.99/month requirement of VZNavigator.
There are hundreds of great GPS programs out there for the Balckberry, but none will work with Verizon's devices. While the storm my be a great device, I think this seals the deal for me to go to a different carrier with a better GPS policy when my contract expires. Heck, I might even terminate my contract early and pay the early cancelation fee to get a device with a working GPS option
