Wow! The massive amount of creative process to produce this must be mind blowing.
On second thought all MS did was copy artwork and slapped it on the failing Zune "me too" player. Oh well. Nothing more than trying to squeeze out just a bit more of sales from their small die hard Zune users.

i like it...if i didn't have a 30GB Zune I would seriously think of getting that.

Uhm, I tried to sound intelligent? I made a remark about the dullness/simplicity of this design, that's all, and I got punished for it because people thought I was seeking to insult their precious zunes where I was merely making an aesthetic observation, which was then followed by an annoyed lashing out by me at the voting.
At not time was there anything involving showing intelligence getting into play, just expressing taste and a view it wasn't that spectacular and as well as an instinctive protective behaviour by voters.
Looks sweet, but I really wish I could upload my own images to be engraved.
All of these "Zune Hate" commenters are really reaching now for something to say about it.
Just goes to show you how great a job MS did with the latest software package, as none of your comments are sticking.
I think you should all give up and just accept that the Zune is the better PMP in the category it competes in.
If I did not have the 30GB version I would somehow find a way to get this. I pre-ordered the G1 and I will be tapped out for a while.
not slick, not cheap, horrible store, horrible DRM... why they cant release a handheld zune/xbox device for gaming, music and video?

I love Zune and even though i have an 80 gb. I so want this because I love Gears. I'll beg my parents to get me one for Christmas. haha.
It would be a good collector's item, but ever since the start of the Unreal Engine 3 era, Epic has become nothing better than "Epic Fail"

I miss Zune :(
I still have the original 30 gig white, but now it gathers dust because of my 3G iPhone.
It's an obligated transfer from Zune (back) to iPod. I was the only kid with a Zune in my hand,
instead of an iPod, in the line for the first few 3Gs. Kind of embarassing.
When is/was this available?
