I don't know a huge deal about cameras but your comment seems pretty hasty. I'm guessing the difference between this camcorder and those models you mention is that this is primarily a camcorder and those are primarily DSLRs. If somebody is serious about making videos they're probably not going to buy the D90 because the fact that you can record videos is a secondary function. And I'm pretty sure handheld cameras haven't been recording full HD quality since forever...
