Nokia's 5800 XpressMusic phone intimately detailed on video
If you've been enjoying those still pictures of Nokia's 5800 XpressMusic touchscreen phone, but feel you're lacking an in-depth experience, we think we can help. A slew of demo and instruction videos have just been slapped up on the Ovi Share site, allowing you to get a better idea of just how the device works, and what it looks like when it's doing it. Luckily for you, we've taken the trouble of including all of the videos after the break for your viewing pleasure, saving you the painful and laborious experience of hitting a read link. Enjoy.

Thick as hell? It's 14.5mm.
The G1 and X1 are 17mm, and the N96 is 18mm.
Not to mention this is noticeably less wide than most models.
So how is this a brick?
Certainly not impressed with the Tube. Lets see what the Blackberry Bold has to offer.
GPS, HD, video recording, flash and cost only 350$? awesome job Nokia!
I hate the double click thing... Why not just a long press to play a music and like a short press to simply select it? Also, I hate the way you have to use your fingertip to press... That's just not natural.
Oh, and double tapping for zooming... seriously? At least there are zoom scroll thing on the right though.
The framerate of these videos SUCK.
Turns me off these phones .. Nokia doesnt give a shit about a smooth experience .. the promo videos all look like stop motion animation. I reckon they did it to hide the fact that their phones are not smooth. I dont want that sort of "stop motion animation" feel to my phone. i want a highly responsive phone without choppy motion.
Did you mabye stop to think that they were trying for a 'stop motion' effect in the videos?
Can somebody make a touch screen UI that isn't so fucking dark I can't see it well while outside and in the sun? I hate all these dark UIs!!!
Nokia has smartly noticed that this new phone is good, but maybe not at par with the iPhone, so they've made it twice as cheap.
i can't see the videos guys :'(
it is not BAD but still not compared with the iPhone of course
i just wish that the iPhone can get SOME FEW enhancements !!!
