Ok, what i meant was since when does the size of the storage actually matter in depleting your battery? We all know that HDD need power, but a 30GB vs a 160GB will absorb the same amount of battery.... Its the spin speed that matters in battery depletion.
Thats besides the point. The reason i responded at the comment was that they seemed perplexed at 120GB, not at HDD!
In order for the device to remain the same size, a bigger hard drive would need a smaller battery. Unless the 120gb touch was a tad thicker... that would work.
Since rippinhonda is still missing it, i'll fill him in. It's not the size that would effect battery life, it's the type. 120GB would have to be a platter drive and not a SSD, which is what all touches and iphones use.
without a doubt, hard drive touch would make the deal for me. i can't see spending $229 for a touch for 8GB, much less $399 for 32GB. quickly searching on newegg, i found a 64GB SSD for $189. i wouldn't call that unreasonable. i think they are still way too expensive.
the nano, on the other hand, seems very well put together and has awesome features. my friend recently bought the 16GB model and we both love it. shake to shuffle and cover flow really sold it for me. too bad i'm broke...
There's more to PC games than computer towers and input devices... Enter the CM Storm Sirus, the outfit's first foray into the world of gaming headsets.

I would make a 120 GB hard drive touch. Id take a size and battery life hit for that storage.
"The new 120GB iPod Touch! 2 hours of music! 9 seconds of video!"
im glad you said it so i didnt have to
Since when does storage size have any effect on battery?
@rippinhonda
You'll regret such a stupid comment
and to the other guys
Over exaggeration of hard drive power usage.
