RIM's BlackBerry Storm 9500 / 9530: details galore
RIM's BlackBerry Storm 9500 / 9530, which is more affectionately known 'round these parts as the Thunder, is definitely within striking distance. Still, just because you don't have too much longer to wait doesn't mean you aren't anxious to get your hands on as many details as possible beforehand, right? The Boy Genius has managed to procure a few mundane stacks of PowerPoint slides that just so happen to contain some pretty scrumptious information on the touchscreen-based BlackBerry, and while there aren't any mind-melting surprises in there (like, confirmation that it can indeed read and reply correctly to each e-mail automatically), it's not the kind of data any real RIM fan would want to overlook. Go on and hit the read link, what exactly are you waiting for?

Even the BB has multitouch........
COM'ON ANDROID DEVELOPERS.... write the damn driver.
I love my iphone and would keep it if I can use it for work.
I was advised not to get the iphone for work but talked them into it. Everybody else has the BJ or BB.
Now, I can' get my corporate email consistently, I can't edit files on the go and attach multiple files when sending pics.
:(
The storm will be more practical for business use right now.
Has no one noticed that this phone DOES NOT have WiFi??? Why!!?? Seems with such an advanced phone they would include everything. All of there other high end phones have WiFi. Morons....
Having WiFi is really a big thing for me, especially while I'm at college where there's wireless everywhere and the 3G network verizon has doesn't really work as well as it does back home in NY.
I got a curve in June... hopefully they'll cut me some deal so I don't have to pay top dollar to get touch-screen goodness.
Crap, I call them morons, but I use THERE instead of THEIR. I'll shut up now...
No Wi-Fi? WTF!
Is it just me or does this thing look like sonyericssons first touchscreen phone? you know, the baby blue one that looked like a shaver?
Oldschool! (ugly)
Saad Rabia - Wow, you really hit one there.
It sounds to me that waiownsyou was asking a legitemate question and truly doesn't believe Social Networking is that important of a feature. It may not and because he doesn't find it important, you jump on his case and saying "are you both drunk or just acting mature?" (which, I think you meant, immature). Not everybody finds the appeal of Social Networking features on a cell phone - so, deal with it instead of flaming the guy! THAT isn't cool anymore!
Sheesh!
